I lost 3 of my friends last year. All 3 of them died cos of bad marriages. Really sad.
The first one was 8 months pregnant and had an asthma fit. Her husband took money with the intention of buying her drugs but ended up strolling out with his friends. The next time he saw his wife, the foetus had suffocated in her womb and she was also dying. Problem was he hadn't worked a single day since he married her so she was the breadwinner and he couldn't afford her treatment. I buried my friend.
My 2nd friend married a wife beater. He would. Beat her to a point she would land in the hospital and she always went back to him cos she didn't want her child 2 come from a broken home. He beat her one day, stabbed her to death and took some of her body parts while @ it. Then he ran off. I still wonder why he hasn't been judged by the law.
The 3rd one also married a man who wanted to be "a man" but refused to work. So she was feeding, clothing and fending for him and her little child all by herself. Paying rent etc while he wld sit @ home doing nothing. She died from stroke at the young age of 32 years! What would make a arae year old intelligent and vibrant woman have stroke? STRESS!!! Yet this man didn't even allow this woman make any decisions in the house. Never took her advice and never listened to her. Did I mention that her father was the one paying their rent?
As my Pastor wld say those were boys still living in BOYsquarters. Men live in MANsions. Boys have no business getting married. They have no business being responsible for another life - be it a wife or a child. The bible teaches that a MAN will leave his father and mother to be joined to his wife.
