The Best Blessed Man

Being a woman tends to be really overwhelming. Now being a wife, mother, sister, friend, leader, business woman and career woman! Phew!!!

Waking up at 4am is the only way out. I spend time with J-E-H-O-V-AH (Flo). That's where I draw my strength for the day. Then I jump into the kitchen while supervising my girl to sweep and mop the house(yes, my husband values me - if you missed the wedding anniversary LDM, I can't really help you). Make breakfast before Kendra wakes up because once she does, its a full time job! She wakes up at 6am everyday - I bathe her, dress her (amidst all her wriggling on the bath table) then make her breakfast after which she falls asleep for.....10 mins (ok, 30mins at the most) then I take that time to bathe and just lie down. She wakes up again in a few mins and wants to hop, climb, pull down, tug at everything she sees including me! Well, the rest of the day is all about Kendra. She feeds 5 times daily, crawls around the whole house, holds onto anything above her crawling height to stand up, tugs at all the wires within her reach...I spend the whole day literarily watching her. Somewhere in between, I serve Kenn breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make him a salad or a snack (yamballs), go thru homework with my girl and at 7pm, Kendra is all cranky, ready for her bath and sleep time. I bathe her, give her a warm bottle of milk and put her to bed by 8.30pm at the latest. Then it's Kenns time where I cater to his needs (food, sitting with him to watch a football match, talking about his day...)After which I am allowed to fall into bed exhausted. My saturdays and sundays is gist for another day!

So, why am I telling you all this? I'm just so blessed because amidst all this, there are those days when I don't get to bathe Kendra, dress her or spend the day watching her because my husband gives me that day off! (Love u babes). He picks her up from bed at 6am, bathes, dresses and feeds her while I am still asleep. He makes his breakfast (and mine) then stays with Kendra both watching Dora the explorer (he actually plays his PSP while she is watching her cartoon lol). All this time, I am lying on the couch, bathed, well dressed and fed, watching TV, reading a book...anything I really want to do! Sleep, wake up - we go out for the day and.....he has Kendra still. We return home and have dinner. He bathes Kendra, feeds her and puts her to sleep. Then we watch 'the doctors' he gets warm water for my feet, hot water and a towel to press my body after which I am tucked into bed.

No, I didn't wake up; it wasn't a dream. This was how I spent my yesterday. Don't I have the best blessed man?
