Destination

I went to the market last week to buy some things for cooking and decided to stop by one of my friends mothers store to buy some soup ingredients.

I told a fellow church member that I was going to "Mama Joys" store and she begged me not to mention that name! I thot they had quarrelled and was shocked until she told me that JOY had died the previous day!!

She only got married last year and was 7 months pregnant. I understand she was sick (vomitting, stooling and difficulty in breathing) and cos her health was deteriorating, they tried to save the baby thru a ceaserian section but JOY didn't survive it. I'm not sure yet about the state of the baby. I shed a few tears out of shock but thot better? She is in that awesome place we know and call heaven and someday, we will meet her there!

Death could call on anyone of us at anytime. It doesn't give a notification. What makes the difference is accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour. This way, death isn't an end but a passage into eternal life in heaven!

Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am sorry for my sin and I repent of it now. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. From today, I'll walk with You. Thank you Lord.
